Bomb-making material, ammunition and rocket propelled
grenades were found during a cordon and search mission in Hendor
village, Afghanistan by Task Force Iron Gray on August
10th, 2010. |

Twenty-one insurgents
turned in their weapons at Qal'eh-ye Now's airfield,
Afghanistan as part of a reintegration
and reconciliation program. |

An operation in Farah and Bala Boluk, Afghanistan
led to the recovery of ten 107 mm rockets and of a huge
number of IED components, including 6 kilos of homemade
explosives, remote control devices, wire and mobile phones. |

U.S.
Special Operations Forces and Afghan Army troops uncovered multiple weapons
caches in eastern Zabul province, Afghanistan on July 31st,
2010. The largest of
the three caches was found in the Now Bahar district
mosque. The items in this photo are a small part of the
